Jinsha Site Museum

To show, we also do other things here besides party *smirk*

2 weeks ago we went to the Jinsha Site Museum, its a museum about the "primitive times" in the Suchuan area. About 3000 years ago! It was one of the most developed areas in the world I think...

Besides the rich vegetation, also the people who lived there obtained a comparatively rich culture. For example they had proper clothes and housing - including dishing/kitchen things and a lot of jewelry that u can see on the following pictures. This museum is built on an archeological excavation site, where u can see the original excavation position of each artefact... wucuowei ^^ (my favorite expression in chinese - what means "not so important/never mind" and not so much "I don't care")... wucuowei

On left side u see the Chengdu delta, on right some of the primitive civilians, we have visited ^^

also this very old tree was worth enough to make a picture of it ^^

Iris' Birthday

Two days ago it was Iris' Birthday. Probably the most alcoholized and actually also very nice party...

But sth. maybe I just explain like this:

"Of sparkling wine one can´t get a breakdown.
That happens merely with hard alcohol, like wodka.
He said, stumbled aside and barfed directly onto the street.
"

PANDA

Chengdu is probably the most important place if you want to experience pandas - here are more than 80% of the worlds population, what's about some hundreds of this kind of giant panda bears. One of the reasons is, that they are too lazy to fight or run, and even too lazy for sex... what is happening maybe 1x in a year.

Chengdu - arrival

September 1st I arrived at Chengdu Main Trainstation. Wang Laoshi(2nd Dean for foreign students) picked me up at the train station. We arrived at a nice building with lots of videocameras. After some burocracy things i entered my room. The dust was about 2mm lying on everything. After some complains they sent some staff to clean my room (I pay 70€/month at the moment). Then finally I could take a shower and go to bed. After this long trip from Wuhan... unfortunately I got a cold the day after. So the next 5 days I just lived between the cafeteria and my dormitory... ate a lot of fruits and other healthy things. Very quickly I found good friends, who are still always around me.

...

If I didnt sleep or ate I played some soccer, basketball, badminton or went to party. No sooner I was regenerated the party time started with 6 days in a row. A lot of fun. A lot of friends. But expensive. Well 1,5€/beer is still very very cheap. But not so cheap I was calculating with... anyway - chinese only go to club if they really have to celebrate something or they are just decadent.
Foreigners r often like stars. Many(not any) natives enjoying to be with foreigners and give us a lot of drinks for free... Chengdu has not so many resident aliens(found this expression on leo ^^) it seems.
